| Mario Ferrante As a partner of Virtus Consulting Inc., Mr. Ferrante specializes in audit and consulting services. He has particularly strong background in internal audit and costing of operations. Mr. Ferrante began his professional career in 1985, providing audit services to the private sector, with the Ottawa office of a national accounting firm. He received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1987 and soon thereafter joined the Ottawa office of an international accounting and consulting firm and focused his efforts on public sector clients. With his experience as a senior manager with this firm, he left in 1993 and joined Mr. Miner in providing the same high quality services as a partner with a local consulting firm. In 1996, he and Mr. Miner created Virtus. In 2002, Mr. Ferrante successfully completed the qualifying examinations and received his Certified Internal Auditor designation. Edward Miner As a partner of Virtus Consulting Inc., Mr. Miner specializes in audit and consulting services. He has particularly strong background in internal audit and designing and implementing information system solutions. Mr. Miner began his professional career in 1983, providing audit services to the private sector, with the Calgary office of an international accounting firm. He received his C.A. designation in 1986 and after spending a year in the Toronto office, in 1987 moved to the Ottawa office of another international accounting and consulting firm. Since then, he has been principally engaged in audit and financial management assignments for federal government departments and crown corporations. In 1988, Mr. Miner successfully completed the qualifying examinations and received his Certified Internal Auditor designation. He finished in the top six internationally and was awarded a Certificate of Excellence. Mr. Miner had two years experience as a senior manager with this international accounting firm when he left in 1992 to provide the same high quality services with a local consulting firm. In 1993 and joined Mr. Ferrante as partners of a local consulting firm. In 1996, he and Mr. Ferrante created Virtus. |
